Icotinib is an orally administered medication that is a highly potent Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor (EGFR) Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor (TKI).  By strongly diminishing  the activity of EGFR TK, the signalling pathways experimentally implicated in cancer cell proliferation, cancerous growths are unable to further expand.  Growth factor signalling has been identified as an integral mechanism in tumor growth in a wide range of cancers.

Icotinib is designed to effect broad anti-tumor activity with Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) in mind, producing stasis and regression in other cancers as well.

Below is our poster presentation from the 2011 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting detailing the completion of our Phase III clinical trials.
